Throughout the ages, the Marquesas have inspired painters, poets, singers and writers, such as Jacques Brel, Paul Gauguin, Pierre Loti, V. Segalen and H. Melville.

From the restaurant and the bar, guests have a spectacular 200° panoramic view which displays the breathtaking splendor and wild beauty of the Marquesas. 6 Bay View Family Suites, 6 Mountain View and 8 Premium Ocean View Bungalows are perched hillside, nestled in the surrounding countryside with views over the bay of Tahauku, the valley of Tehueto and Mount Temetiu. Each has the individual touch of one of twenty local artists and sculptors.
